The final part

Of course a reggae-festival wouldn't be complete without soundsystem
and MC. This year's edition shall be hosted by Mutabaruka & Aldith Hunkar.
The sounds during the breaks will be delivered by our very own
'United Sounds' soundsystem.

May 3 2013:
Final acts are confirmed !

The line up of Reggae Sundance 2013 is now completed with 3 acts coming from 3 different continents. From the Netherlands comes Joggo & the Revolution Warriors, Jamaica brings us the energy-god Elephant man,
and finally the African continent will be represented by the Ivory Coasts reggae-chief Alpha Blondy.

March 10 2013:
Ziggy cancelled

Just before the weekend we got the announcement from his management that Ziggy has decided to cancel his scheduled European tour. During the past few days we have tried everything within our power to see if there was anything we could do to ensure his show at Sundance, but they remained with their decision. Below a statement from Ziggy:

Due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to make a tough decision and cancel my show at the Sundance Festival. Deepest apologies to my fans in the Netherlands and I hope to see all of you soon. Love, Ziggy.

Rest assured that we will go through lengths to find a suitable replacement.

Protoje added to the line-up!

Jamaica’s rising star Protoje and his Indiggnation band are confirmed and added. More acts will be announced in the near future.

February 7 2013:
Ziggy Marley confirmed as closing act

It took a while, but it was worth waiting for. Reggae Sundance returns at the beautiful E3-strand near the picturesque town of Eersel (NL).
On August 10th the irie vibes of reggae music will be spread by top notch artists. Already confirmed are reggae superstar Ziggy Marley, and also Germany’s most popular reggae artist: Gentleman & the Evolution.

As you know Sundance is much more than just reggae-music, its that real authentic vibe and irie feeling created by the artists, visitors and many volunteers that makes the festival so popular.

A cosy festivalmarket, exotic foodstalls, various workshops and last but not least a manmade beach nearby for a swim and a tan. Its an all-inclusive package that appeals to not just the reggae-fans, but to everyone that wants to have an irie and ‘reggaeful’ experience.

The return of Reggae Sundance

The most important news at the moment is of course that there actually will be a Reggae Sundance Festival in 2013!

The date, the 10th of August, and the location, the E3-beach in Eersel
(the Netherlands) are the latest announcements we can make.

The moment that we have any news regarding tickets and pricing, presale, confirmed artists or any other news related to the 14th edition of Reggae Sundance we will announce it here.
